Tarot Spreads
A tarot spread is the pattern in which cards are laid out for a reading. Each position in a spread has a specific meaning that shapes how you interpret the card placed there. Choose your spread based on the type of question you're asking.
How to choose the right spread
Daily One Card
Draw a single card each morning for a focused daily theme or energy. The simplest and most powerful daily practice.
Three Card Spread
The most versatile spread in tarot. Read past, present, and future — or any three-part question you're exploring.
Yes or No
Get a direct answer to a specific question. Draw one card and interpret its energy as a clear yes, no, or maybe.
Love & Relationship Spread
A five-card spread designed to reveal the energy, challenges, and potential of a relationship.
Celtic Cross
The classic ten-card spread. The most comprehensive tarot layout for deep insight into any complex situation.
You might be wondering.
What is a tarot spread?
A tarot spread is a layout where each card position carries a specific meaning — 'past', 'challenge', 'outcome', and so on. The position shapes how you interpret the card placed there. Spreads give structure to a reading and make the cards easier to understand in context.
Which spread should I start with?
Start with the daily one-card pull. Draw one card each morning, read its meaning, and reflect at the end of the day. This builds your intuition with individual cards before you add complexity. After 2–4 weeks of daily pulls, the three-card spread is the natural next step.
Can you do a tarot reading for yourself?
Yes — self-readings are how most people use tarot. The key is genuine curiosity, not fishing for a specific answer. If you find yourself reshuffling until you get the card you want, that's a sign to take a break and return to the question later.
How many spreads can you do in one session?
One focused spread per session is usually enough. Doing multiple readings on the same question in a single sitting tends to produce contradictory results and dilutes the signal. If a reading feels unclear, journal it and return to it the next day rather than drawing again immediately.
